Something Trivial

I was really pooped and frustrated from the day’s work and going home was all I had in mind. I was about to reach the door when one of our boss, Ms. Anna, gave me a Christmas present. It was a wish bracelet. But of course I waited for me to get home before I opened it.

A gift is one of the last things in my mind that I’d be receiving from the people in our office because usually it’s a bunch of papers that has a lot of numbers on it, which I don’t intend to make sense of in any kind of way, and an order to photocopy it. Hyep, all of those with a ribbon on it. Hahaha. Joke.  That is why it was a bolt from the blue for me to receive such. Honestly, it kind of changed the route where my day was heading. I suddenly had the urge to smile and savor the genialness of life.

Funny how most people take these kinds of things for granted.  Drinking a cup of coffee while reading a good book, receiving a smile from a stranger and you smiling back, receiving or giving presents for no reason, curling up in bed with a warm fuzzy blanket on a cold night, long talks with your best friends, exploring new places, these things seem to be easily labeled as inconsequential. What they don’t realize is that these things are like little rocks and if you put them together, you’ll be able to build a wall strong enough to protect you from the wrath that life throws at you.

I thought I will have time to read these books during my Christmas vacation. Guess I was wrong.

Turns out, I don't have a vacation! :\

Wishlist No. 2: Moonleaf Planner

I wasn't able to resist the temptation. I wanted to save money so that I will have something to spend in case the need arises.

Nahhh…who am I kidding? I know that the impulsive buyer in me wouldn’t easily give up without a fight. In the end, the “me” that’s rational was defeated.

It wasn’t really a waste of money since it’s a little gift to myself for all the hardships that I endured. Besides anything that brings happiness to me will not should not be considered as a waste.

I already covered it and put pictures of my friends and crush. <3

Think of the happiest things, it's the same as having wings!

Mr. Pink <3

How to celebrate the holiday season with a bang? Have a picture with your crush! Haha..Hyep, that’s what I did and trust me, you’ll have a month’s supply of happiness, not to mention the kilig factor! Nyahahah

He’s been my crush now for almost a year and a half and this is the first time I talked to him (It was also the first time I did such thing). Whenever I’m in front of my crush, whoever it is, I always get tongue tied. I can’t even look straight in his eyes. Yes, girls can be torpe too. That is why it was really a Herculean task for me to ask him that favor. So imagine my astonished (and kinikilig) look when he actually said yes! It felt like I had butterflies and firecrackers for breakfast! In all fairness to him, he was a good sport for agreeing to have our picture taken, not minding the fact that we barely know each other.

Okay, I have a confession to make. That heart shape that we made, I just tried to push my luck and ask him for another favor for the last time. Well I think you know what was his answer by now. Hihihi  <3

The reason why I went through all the trouble to ask him for a picture is that, months from now I don’t want to look back at that situation and find myself still thinking….what if? Regret is something I don’t want lurking around my thoughts. Not today. Not in the near future. Not even in a gazillion years!

With all the embarrassment that I felt….I still think it was worth it.

*When I asked him if it’s okay to have a picture with him

Him: Bakit? Para san?
Me: *thinking what to say*….remembrance? :">
(in my mind I was thinking…..Malamang crush kita kya gusto ko magpapicture sayo!)

*Many thanks to Ms. Framedbliss for helping me out, big time! I think she's Santa in disguise. Hahaha! Joke. I love her to bits!

There are not enough words in the dictionary to describe the happiness that I’m feeling right now. If happiness could grow trees, then I would have a forest. The year’s about to end and I’m glad that I can say, without any pretense, that I don’t have any regrets in everything that has happened this year.

Hooray for bliss! <3

Slacking Off

I apologize for me not being able to blog for some time now. It's because my schedule wouldn’t allow me. Hayyyyy. . . . the life of a student, so many things to be done, so many friends to hang-out with, and so many new things to explore with so little time. But I’m still having the time of life! I'm actually enjoying the new challenges that life has to offer. Hehehe.

So as an attempt to avoid lapses in my blog, I’ll just post my favorite quotes or pictures of what I’ve been up to from time to time. I call them my mini blogs.

Here’s the first one.

The Pride Of Arayat

If one day your tummy is crying, begging you to feed it and you realized that you are craving for a Filipino dish, well then, I assure you that Kabigting’s is the place to be. They offer Filipino dishes that will keep you coming back for more.

I ordered their Beef Tapa since it is one of their best sellers. Their Tapa is served with vinegar that has a great blend of sweet and sour to its taste. It’s really a perfect match to their Tapa.

Of course, I didn’t pass out the chance of trying out their infamous halo-halo.

Their halo-halo is a bit different since it only has 3 main ingredients.  It has carabao’s milk pastillas, beans cooked similar to Halaya and cream corn. At first I was a bit doubtful about the taste since it was my first time to eat halo-halo with pastillas in it.  It actually turned out great! It has the right amount of sweetness that will surely keep you wanting more!

I would say that it was all worth my moolah! Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you that they have great service as well. Truly an Arayat’s pride!

Next time I go there, I’mma try this.

Two thumbs up for you guys!

Someday we'll all have perfect wings.

Don't Laugh At Me
Peace is with a loving presence.

Thank You

I was having a bad day last Thursday. I had anxiety, stress and deep wounding words served for breakfast. Not to mention my stubborn headache and body pain that kept me company since the start of the week. It was a perfect concoction that almost killed me. I was trying to study for our Registered Marketing Professional Exam for the next day but soon realized that it was just impossible. I can’t focus on anything. Hate and negativity was all I had in mind. But you see, rainbows have their way of showing up even before the rain stops. You just need a little sunshine.

I am so blessed to have my very own angels here on earth. I call them friends.

Thanks to everyone who prayed for me and Tina, to those who wished us good luck and to those who gave us little words of encouragements. Also, special thanks to Marx Medina. I know you’re the culprit! I’m sure of it!

You guys don’t know how your text messages made the difference for me that night. I actually slept with a smile on my face. I really appreciate it. Thank you and I love you all.

P.S. You were all my inspiration when I was taking the exam. I did my best. I just hope it was enough.
